A new cattery is being built at Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue in Bolton, reflecting the charity’s ongoing commitment to improving the lives of rescued cats. This facility aims to provide a safe and comfortable environment for cats recovering from distress as they await adoption.
Avid’s Angels has been active in rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats across the North West. The construction of the new cattery will enhance its capacity to care for more animals while offering upgraded accommodations designed to minimize stress during their transition period.
The need for specialized care facilities has grown, prompting this expansion. The current site has long served as a hub for dedicated volunteers who provide medical attention and affection to each cat that arrives. The new structure will enable the organization to increase its intake while maintaining high standards of housing essential for feline health and well-being.
Every cat taken in by Avid’s Angels undergoes neutering, vaccination, and microchipping before being placed up for adoption. These responsible practices not only protect the animals but also promote their long-term welfare.
Volunteers play a crucial role in daily operations, ensuring that rescued cats feel secure during their recovery. The new cattery is expected to support these efforts further, enhancing the overall care provided by this community-focused charity.
