Meow Manor Cats is a dedicated sanctuary committed to rescuing and rehoming stray cats in the Portsmouth and Hampshire area. Established in 2018, the organization has been instrumental in providing a safe haven for numerous felines, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. The sanctuary’s mission emphasizes the importance of spaying and neutering to address the challenges of abandoned and rehomed cats in the region.
A distinctive feature of Meow Manor Cats is their open days, which began in 2024. These events offer the public an opportunity to interact with the resident cats, providing a therapeutic and enjoyable experience. Visitors can engage in activities such as stroking, cuddling, feeding, and playing with the cats, all within a calm and fun environment. The open days are designed to raise awareness about the sanctuary’s work and the significance of responsible pet ownership.
The sanctuary operates with a strong community focus, encouraging support through donations that contribute to essential needs like veterinary bills, spaying and neutering procedures, and the expansion of their outdoor catio area. This collaborative approach ensures the continued well-being of the cats and the growth of the sanctuary’s facilities.
